Rear cubby pockets question

Has anyone seen a photo of a XL or XLT that does not have any spray in liner or liner of any kind? I was wondering what ford did with the space where the cubby is suppose to go? Did they not mold it into the metal all? Or did they mold it in and just cap it with a nice screw on panel?

I'm hoping they capped it with a screw on panel so i can maybe add my own cubby plastic insert to make my XLT have 2 cubbies.

Close! but it doesnt show the driver side where the XLT model doesnt have the 2nd cubby. That is what i need to see to answer my question

There is a blank plastic plate that is bolted in place of the cubby and/or outlet box. You can unbolt the blank and pop in a cubby no problem. Or use that blank as a canvas for whatever DIY ideas you can come up with.

I doubt Ford would offer that as an accessory, they want to upsell your build. Probably the aftermarket will have something available after a few months. Perfect 3D printer project.
