Did you discuss what areas they would, and would not spray?
I'd be curious too! With the hybrid version, there are likely areas to keep that fluidic film stuff away from, yet try to get the areas where rust is likely to occur. With these trucks coming up on 5 years of existence, I'd like to see the underside of one of the first ones to hit the midwest/salt bed area and examine how clean it potentially still is. This way you could have an idea of where to apply and how often.

That's what I did essentially, years ago when I bought a CPO Grand Caravan. I went to a U-Pick junk yard and took pictures of GC rust prone areas, within a week or so I realized I could have obtained the same information from any Walmart parking lot, Lol!
But anyway, it made rust proofing the important areas much easier.

I used Krown creeping liquid undercoat that has to be updated every year, and they guarantee not to cause harm to the coolant pipes, wiring harnesses or drive battery connectors. I think FluidFilm has the same guarantee. Mine is 3 years old now, with zero rust or door seal damage in a heavy salt snowbelt area.

I went with Ziebart through my dealership - Ziebart will send you an annual reminder to bring the vehicle for inspection and touch-up of their undercoating. I have already had my Maverick in for it's annual inspection. Of course, while I was there, they wanted to upsell me their "Diamond Glow" paint protection which is their version of a ceramic coating....I deferred at this time as I wanted to contemplate some stripes and/or decals when the weather breaks...should be any day now that Spring is actually here...lol
