I got an email from Real Truck saying that my hood deflector order was cancelled. Also checked my credit card, and a refund had been credited.

Which one? They sell several.
Probably the AVS Bugflector II. It was a real P.O.S. with a lot of quality control issues as documented on this forum. I can’t speak much for Realtruck either. They were supposed to send me a replacement and never bothered. Realtruck owns AVS.

As someone that just drilled another hole, yea... it's not the greatest. Apparently EGR came out with one after it and it's better. More early adopter problems

They have one in matte as well.
Sometimes it's a "pending" charge but yea, my experience with RT was not a good one and that was part of it. Charged for an item on backorder and got pushed back multiple times.

Card was charges immediately, so they had use of the money for 6 weeks. They DID credit it back, so no harm no foul. Except, I don't have a bug catcher.
Glad it turned out ok. That's why I generally order from the maker, Rokblokz, EGR, JCR. they usually know if they have product on hand and no middleman, i.e. Real Truck. They didn't charge until shipped either.

I got the AVS Bug Deflector II from RealTruck before they stopped selling them and had no issues with them after I got longer fasteners. RT even discounted them for me. Guess I was lucky.

I ordered floor liners in November 2023. Charged at time of order and it took over 12 weeks to receive the order. Liners were defective when I opened the carton. Realtruck sent replacement shipment and it was also defective.
Worth noting Realtruck closed two or three manufacturing locations in 2023 and relocated production to GA.
I don't know if for sure if Realtruck actually makes any product but they are a big online retailer. They're the e-commerce division of Truck Hero that produces around 300 unique items, Extang for example.

Not a fan of Real Truck either. Denied a warranty issue on an ARE cap. That was a lifetime warranty. I won’t be using them or ARE for anything.
