Raptor Grille Installed

Installed the Raptor grill today. Wasn’t bad as I had already taken the front off a few months ago to install a base plate for flat towing. I think it makes it look more like a truck! I do have these 2 yellow wires that I don’t know what they are for. The red and black tied into the side markers lights up all the lights.

The yellow wires tap into the right and left front turn signals. The right is a blue with white wire and the left is a yellow with green wire. They work good and look cool.

Nice job on the grille. It gives the Maverick a little bit of extra heft. If you don't mind me asking off-topic, what brand base plate did you use? I had a Chevy Colorado on which I preferred the RoadMaster over the Blue Ox, but on the Maverick it seems the Blue Ox is a better fit (less modification). I'd appreciate your experience.

I used the blue ox and took my time cutting out the fascia. Looks good

It does look good. On your baseplate installation. Did Blue Ox baseplate installation allow you to leave the lower shutters unaltered/intact?

It does look good. On your baseplate installation. Did Blue Ox baseplate installation allow you to leave the lower shutters unaltered/intact?

Blue Ox doesn’t require any modification to shutters

That's what I'm waiting for. It seems like it would be easy to cut a square for it but I'm not going to try

And also had a spot for the radar.

I honestly think the stock XLT one looks the best out of all the current options. Not a fan of additional lights or the bulky lettering, but the one in the picture I do like.

I know different folks like different things BUT Your grill looks GREAT to me.
