Radio problems

A few days ago the radio made a loud static noise twice within a few seconds. Turned it off and back on and it started working again. Yesterday, when I turned the radio on there was no sound. After turning it off and back on several times, it came on and started working again. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Ive not had these issues but I would do a factory reset by going to general - reset - factory reset. Also, I would reset any existing ACM DTC codes (if there are any codes present) using a scan tool

I went to general, but did not see a reset option on that screen.

Just had this happen to me this morning. I did hold the buttons down to restart the radio. Didn’t stop it from making the static sound. It did eventually stop right when I was going to pull into the ford dealership. Smh

I would bypass the Ford representation here and just take it to your dealer. Speaking from personal experience that’s all they will tell you to do in the end and it’s a waste of your time.

My radio just goes to blank screen then the ford symbol comes on then I have to wait til the radio comes back on, some times I have to push the volume button before the radio comes back on, it happens both if I’m using the radio or the connection to my phone?
Any ideas?
