Display problems

I know others have mentioned problems with the infotainment system, and now I have started experiencing them with my ‘23 AWD Lariat. First I noticed that the third set of presets would not display. I had to go through the menu to go from two to three screens, and then all the presets were displayed. But the third set disappeared every time I tuned the engine off. Then I noticed that when I tuned the engine on with the stereo on, it was on a SiriusXM information screen, or that the station tuned was back on the first preset, no matter what it was on when I shut down. Then yesterday the display remained on the backup camera even after I shifted out of Reverse. The screen was locked until I did a reset. That happened several times.

I still have the BCM recall to do, which I assume is unrelated.

We are on our second infotainment system on our '22 hybrid and it is behaving worse than the first, so it is going in for a 3rd.

It's probably a failed over the air software update. Mine had similar issues after a failed over the air update. A trip to the dealer for a couple of software updates and all is good again. It was handled under warranty and I was given a free loaner while repairs were being made

Mine was doing similar things, after digging thur ford pass I noticed the sync required an update. Had the dealer do the sync update when it was in for the last recall. One of the 2 fixed it and working normal again

My locked up at lease once a week, at my first oil change dealer did a software update and it works much better now, that was a year a go, its only happened once or twice now. truck 2 years old now.
