i have 2023 Maverick Xlt hybird. lots of static on radio. Especially AM. Can I reset radio safely? How do I do it? My other fords radio works perfectly. This one is terrible.

There is a 8 inch antenna

Hold the power button a skip track button to reboot the head unit. Also, check to make sure you are on the latest software.

Also make sure your antenna is screwed in all the way. Mine wasn't. But I've since changed to the jr stubby as i play pandora radio.

The radio reception is very poor in my Mav. Where I live, I have to be within about 30 miles of a city before the stations start coming in. Unfortunately, the nearest city is about 50 miles away.

In my area, there are no receivable AM stations except at night; even in vehicles with decent radio antennas. And due to the hills & valleys, FM reception is iffy, at best.
