24 F this morning.
I tried to use those ceramic heaters - temp to Hi, fan speed 4, ICE running of course.
Didn't feel heat until the coolant temp was above minimum - so it was probably more from that.
So far haven't seen those 3 things work that great.
Directions say "heat to maximum" so I wonder if fan speed needs to be maximum too?

I'd like to see a chart with battery amps, and generator torque, and then flip your heating switches on and see if there is any burst of power consumed.

I too have zero indicators of "booster heater" coming on in three years. It may be a myth. Like the 13.8 gallon gas tank.

While frequently below 50°F I'm rarely below 32°F. So limited testing.

The needle (or bar chart) is distinctively for WATER (engine coolant).

There is no built-in gauge for the motor or generator or transmission or battery temperature. But you can see all of the above with the OBDII plug in scanner of your choice.
I searched this. I would like to hook up an OBDII with bluetooth to an old phone I have and keep it mouted to the dash, but it would appear that OBDII with bluetooth do not work with Hybrid. Hmm?

David,
I've used my OBD reader and torque lite on my 23 Maverick hybrid. I did not get a whole lot of information because I'm using the free version.

In the past I used it on my Buick Encore see how much boost it was putting out. I still use on my smart car and occasionally the Maverick.
Posted from the internet.
Torque Pro Lite and the full Torque Pro app work with thr Ford Maverick Hybrid, as the truck is OBD2 compliant. However, to get the most out of the hybrid-specific data like battery voltage and state of charge, you will need to use the full Torque Pro app and manually add custom PIDs (Parameter IDs), which are specific to the hybrid system.

my guage goes 1 notch higher than your pic. February 2025 through summer (7k miles) it always maxed out at the lowest white range.

Seems like a waste of space.

Same with first generation EV coach.
Lots of room. Tiny bar graph.
🤷🏻‍♂️

During winter my temperature gauge barely gets up to a third at best. Mostly hangs around a quarter to a third I was just wondering if other hybrid owners have the same readings on their temperature gauges. Mine is a 24 and I was just wondering?
My 25 XL Hybrid does about the same thing.
Now that mornings are cold here in WI. I run the truck in Tow/Haul mode to keep the engine running until the temp gauge gets up to 1/3ish. I then switch to econ and let it do it's thing.

Sure it does.
I've got 2 OBD adapters - one is app specific, the other is not.
Both work fine. Both use only BT, I didn't splurge for the wifi one.
Now - you can get really cheap ODB adapters that are poor quality that may not work.
