Need a chip detector for that I think.

Check that they didn't not install any chips. I know that was something getting thrown around... You don't wanna take your truck only to find out the never installed the chips that will turn on the heated seats or whatever

Verify Ford Pass points are applied properly
Verify sound barriers between front doors and front fenders
Check for owners manual in glove box
Ask for free oil changes.
If you purchased all weather mats yourself, ask if they will credit back the stock front carpet mats

FordPass points apply within a couple of weeks
I am unsure if there is any type of barrier there. Its just open metal
Rarely dealers give out oilchanges because of FordPass points, but it doesn't hurt to ask
Nobody wants the floormats really.

Just for general information purposes...

Salespeople don't care how you finance your car. They'd prefer you pay cash, since they'd have slightly less paperwork. Salespeople never get a cut of financing (back end) profits.

The finance person cares. They have quotas. If too many people pay cash or bring their own financing they will lose out on bonus.

And FWIW- the dealership likely makes $100 (or less) on Ford Financing. It's called a "flat".

The one thing I'm glad I did was get pre-approved for Ford financing before going in. They tried to switch me to a 3rd party at a slightly higher rate. Noped out on that.

Where did you do that at? And does it tell you the rate right away?

Ask the sales person to stay with you at all times during the deal. Do not let them work with another customer when you are there. Ask them to have all the paperwork ready before you arrive. Tell the salesperson you don’t want to hear any war stories. Get the deal done quick and get out of there.

PS: Tell them you know the price of all add ons. They will try to stick it to you. Know your credit score before arriving. Don’t get scared when they tell you something that might be wrong.

When was the scheduled build? I just checked and so is mine, but I have no build date or email yet. Did you receive email too? I am able to get my Window Sticker but no emails. Regardless thanks! Following for best advice from community and already added to my checklist as well!

Congrats - after seeing yours my scheduled is 4/18 but now show scheduled and WS - so I guess there is hope after 5 build date changes anyhow - appreciate the thread!

I posted this a few minutes ago in another thread. I hope this helps.

Key to using the Farm Bureau cash and getting the now expired Ford incentives is to back date the reward. If you use the current reward, I believe Ford rejects it as being invalid since you are going on order date (e.g. 2021) and the 2022 reward wasn't yet valid. In the Farm Bureau site, enter your order date for the sales date (I believe you choose the already purchased option) and you will get a 2021 code. Give this to Chapman, and they will then be able to enter it into the Ford system so you can get the reward.

It seems (I have no direct experience) that there is a subtelty in using the Farm Bureau discount. I hope the information provided above helps.

Yes, got one. It was in the glove compartment, along with the funnel and a pigtail?? wire in a bag.
