Protective Film PPF option..

I ordered a Maverick with the protective film option. I was wondering if anyone knows if this delays the build date? If you have it on your Maverick how do you like it?

Price wise the option is good although I believe it has always been a constraint item. I don't know what kind of thickness the factory PPF is but it's kind of strange that it doesn't even cover the bumper. If you haven't been scheduled I would remove it and get it done locally...........

It's way less expensive than aftermarket.

I was unable to get it on mine because its a First Edition so Ford will not cover the decal because of it would cause the film to lift up.

Mine has the PPF from Ford. Thickness seems appropriate for what it is. It did not cause any delay and I picked up my Mav on Dec. 15th. The edge does collect a little dirt (oxford white). So far it is just fine and I'm glad that I ordered it - would do it again.

I ordered my ECO Maverick in early December, 2021 with the PPF film and it is in production this week. Not sure if any delay was due to the PPF.
