Wow, 12.15s @ 1/4 mile is good , soon you’ll hit the high 11’s . How much power do you think you have have left coming from the 2.0 engine? the Corsair turbo really rocks on the 2.0!!

No clue, stock 2.0T blocks can handle well over 400whp as long as you keep the torque manageable.

Dude you are going to have a 11 second truck before summertime!!! Man I hope someone figure out a intercooler upgrade for the Tremor! Intercooler, turbo, and tune if that can get a Tremor on ATs to run 13 flat in daily trim who the hell needs a Raptor or TRX we got wild Mavericks! The best part is that most of what you have done is literally the type of things Ford Racing would offer for a Fox body in their heyday. Call your Lincoln turbo an GT40 head, the intercooler a ram air box, and the tune a "world class" clutch and a cobra intake. The Maverick is the new grassroots performance Ford.

Also keep an eye out in your rear view mirror for a Lamborghini Diablo and Shelby Cobra 427. Because thats where you will find them. Damn. Guess I need a new poster on my childhood bedroom wall.

Talk about doing all the R&D for Ford. Instead of a Maverick ST, they'll be selling a
Maverick QR (Quik Rik) 😁 Nice job on this build. (y)

Cracked the QR code! The ifone generation will love it. Sell each model with an authentic NFT!

But seriously its amazing how simple this build is once the all the research has been done. Its like it was destined to happen. Like Carroll Shelby in the day.

I did a lot of looking around, and I still am in regards to the trans, and other components. I really want the masses to understand if you put in some work, even if you have to use friends to help, you can do some serious builds! I really enjoy running 87 octane, and still running lower 13s! So neat!

Thats running faster than 90% of the muscle car era on gas that would have made them run like microwave popcorn unless you turned the distributor almost a whole cylinder back!

@Ford Motor Company You know, if you have some extra sponsorships laying around, I could show the masses what a Maverick can REALLY do! Haha

Have you tried running e10 87 octane with another 20 percent ethanol? Should be close to 91 octane for less $ than 87

I'm pretty sure that is not how it works, that would give you E30 87, not sure what you would use that for, maybe to reduce your fuel economy in a flex fuel vehicle?

So this is how I look at it. I could go woth E30 from the pump. Some stations offer it. But my concern is the gas they use to make the E30 is just your standard cheap gas. I always measure my E85 for ethanol content, then mix that with 91 or 93 octane to get the highest octane E30 possible. I don't know what way the tuning company's do it, but that is how I do so I always know it's the best versiin of ethanol blend possible.

The factory computer seems to handle E30 just fine, some have been doing it for a while. But he is right, adding a couple gallons of E85 to E10 87, will net you a little higher octane, probably somewhere between 89-91 octane, depending on how good the E85 is.

Exactly, 89-91 octane for less $ than the cheap 10e 87. Will it reduce fuel economy? Yep. Ethanol always does.

So by that way of thinking I should be able to take my Maverick with 3/4 tank of non ethanol 91 & top off with E85 & I should get an octane of 93 or slightly higher? Logic tells me that won't work, but I am willing to try it as the computers in the Maverick seem to be able to handle more than E10, & your performace testing backs that up.
I am reluctant to use ethanol at all, 20 years ago I was testing it using one of my fathers classic cars from the 60's with high compression, it always ran good on 91 without ethanol & even 89 without, I tried a tank of E10-91 octane & the results were catastrophic, the knocking was like a diesel & popcorn popper combined, 7 miles I coasted the last mile into my driveway & a couple cylinders you could see the top of the connecting rods through the spark plug holes, it was junk. So my conclusion is that an octane rating of fuel with ethanol is not equal to the same octane rating of fuel without. Now this may have occurred because the car was a carbureted engine & could not adjust for the lean fuel mixture produced by the ethanol, which all computer controlled engines can, but either way the 2 fuels are not equal in my opinion.
