Ordered my 2025 Maverick back in August 2024, received it the first week of January 2025. spent a few months researching stuff I wanted to do on the exterior first. My plans were to build a mini sport truck, to be used as a shop truck for our Toy Business here in Virginia. Here goes the build.

Installed MRT Dual Rear Exit Exhaust with black tips.
Painted all the black exterior parts blue.
Tinted front door windows.
Blacked out rear taillights and 3rd brake/bed light.
Installed PowerStop front/rear rotor/pad kit.
Custom VFC Performance Wheels, Velocity Blue barrels with Ford GTD Mustang Centers 20x8.5.
Painted front and rear brake calibers (Lime Green Ceramic).
Massive front strut tower brace, custom painted lime green.
Installed the Bed Rug inside the bed with Led lighting.
Installed the Ford Tri-Fold bed cover.
Installed the Eibach lowering springs. Ordered the ISC coilovers kit 11 months ago, but still not available, so had to cancel and order the Silvers kit.

More updates as I start on the interior, suspension and drive train upgrades.

Looks good. Nice job with the paint match.

Out of curiosity, how hard was it to re-bleed the brakes? I have never done it on a modern car, so wondering how that goes.

It's not too hard to re-breed the brakes, if you have a buddy you can do it by just pumping the brakes and working your way around each wheel. The Mavericks have the rear electric emergency brakes, but since my truck was new, I left the e-brake off and the new pads when in fine.

Ok, just like I do on old cars. For some reason I thought the brake booster made things more complicated. Good to hear it does not.

I love that you painted all the black trim around the bed and everywhere. Makes the truck look much nicer. I would settle for painted bumpers. lol Why the Lariat doesnt get that upgrade blows my mind.

Paint Questions: Why is the blue hard to match? Is it because of the base color over black or all the pearl? I thought the color codes would yield a correct match. Please school me! Also, did you sand and smooth the trim of leave it textured. What was your process and how is it holding up? Thanks!

Hi Trick86, this blue has a lot of metallic in the color, so Ford tries to keep its paint batches consistent, but there are different shades with each batch of paint they mix. The color code will get you close. I left the black pieces textured, all the bumpers, lower side panels, mirrors and door handles turned out very nice by adding a few extra coats of clear. I do wish that I had sanded the black trim around the bed, it's a thinner plastic and it really sucked the paint in, so they still have that textured look only on the two side pieces. I may pull them, wet sand them and re-paint them down the road at some point. Hope this helps.
