Production build week delay: my order got pushed from 10/4 to 10/11
I don’t like the sound of that. I have a 2.0 scheduled on 10/4. Hopefully it’s just XLs and my XLT will stay put.
I know it’s only one week but still. Every week matters. Especially when I’m trying to get the truck home before the snow flies.

Does anyone know status on building 1st Edition models?
I would think Ford would want those out ASAP for a couple of reasons: 1. High profit for the build + features... 2. More notable - the open market value of those on the road "making impressions"... I ordered the Spark Red - nearly got the Carbonized Grey - did not like the Area 51 at all...
The Spark Red is completely out of the norm for me... but this may be my last ever vehicle and I wanted to have some "Viva" umpf in my daily driving.

I was hoping that too when ordering my FE... That Ford might push those out a bit quicker. It was similar to the feeling when you buy a lottery ticket though. Hopeful, but definitely not counting on it!

I placed my order on 8/4 for the 2.0 originally scheduled 10/4 but as you see pushed back to 10/11
For my hybrid 6/14 and scheduled 10/4 (hasnt moved yet)
Both are xl with only option is the power outlet on the hybrid.

Husband has a Rapid Red First Edition hybrid ordered (6/21). He's coming to terms with it not being scheduled anytime soon. I have a Hot Pepper Lariat hybrid ordered (7/8). No scheduling email yet. Assuming mine comes in before his is scheduled, he's probably going to have to decide whether to wait it out or buy mine.

This process is amazingly inconsistent - and without any bearing as to "why" the information is disparate across the board? I placed my order on 08/18 and ONLY have an email confirmation from Ford, it was in their system... but the Ford Site indicates "no record"...
I hate to bother Tom Borah as he is more than likely getting inundated with emails "where is my... or what is my ... status request!!??!? I may reach out to him mid week forthcoming.
