Problems w/ Side Marker Light swap to LED

Fo the life of me I can not get the Driver's side marker light off in order to swap with an LED. I was able to replace the passenger side by going thru the wheel feel area. The video I saw on F150LEDS.com on how to remove this side marker light make it look easy. This thing just doesn't want to come off and you can't access it from the behind. Any suggestions?

There was enough room even with the computer in the way.

Did you access from the wheel well? I ran my hand around there for 30 mins and couldn't locate any access tot he back of that side marker.

Yes. Removed the screws and it was right there.

Do you mean you accessed from the wheel well area or did you come from underneath somehow? Just doesn't seem like my hand can fit anywhere in there.

It cost me some skin and blood but I also pulled the stock drivers side bulb from behind after not being able to pull the lens out from the front. Probably could have gotten it but wasn’t willing to risk breaking a mounting tab

I'm having the same issue. Can't get side marker light off. How did you access it from behind on the driver's side? There is a computer there or something.

I pulled the wheel well felt liner back. I had also removed the plastic spats in front of the tire previously which created a little more room. That gave me just enough room to snake a hand in, pull the harness, swap bulbs and plug back in

OK, I tried that with no success last night. Did you snake your hand between the bumper and the computer thingy?

me too but i had to find the right tool i did n just keep pushing up and out

it slides forward and pops off, I used two trim tools one to push forward and another to lift up and pop off, it’s not easy but very doable

That is what I did.. I also covered the painted areas near where I was prying with painters tape. I'm not sure if that helped prevent any marring or not, but I didn't have any. Your mileage may very.
