So I decided to upgrade my lights and ordered the LASFIT Exterior Light Package. Glad I did. That being said, while I am a bit tech challenged, I was able to install all but one of them. The Driver Side Marker light has posed a major challenge. I have tried to reach it from the bottom and even from the wheel well but unlike the passenger side, I can't find a way of either pulling the light out or pushing the entire light kit through. Any suggestions Mav Fam? In the meantime, if you happen to see an "over 40 victim of fate" driving in Florida with one Marker light being LED and the other being halogen, try not to snicker too hard. :)

So the way it works is a single clip on the front side, front end pops out and the unit pulls directly out.

There's a lip that makes getting to the clip nearly impossible from the outside, you need to remove the trim pieces in the wheel well, just pop tabs, that you can pull back and see the parking light through. I used the same trim removal bar to press in on the clip from this angle through the wheel well, the parking light housing will release.

I snapped the passenger side clip because I used a bit too much oomph, just be aware they can break easily.

You can pry it open from the outside but be VERY careful not to scratch anything. See BJ517's video here:

Yup yup. Was about to post this. A stiff plastic tool would be best to use.

This is literally covered in the manual, people. Read it, and don't go digging around in the wheel well for no reason.

Lesson for the day read the manual vs watch multiple you tube videos. Thanks for suggestion of the stiff plastic tool.

I started to mar the paint around that area. I used a plastic pry tool. The paint was soft in that area. Remove 4-5 fasteners around the wheel well. Unscrew the 7mm screws from the mudflap near the wheel well and under the bumper. Pull the bumper back from underneath and you have room to get ur arm in there and pop the clip from the inside. Better this way than possibly messing up the paint. Also why wld they put a PCM inside the bumper with very little protection??
