The Subaru Baja & Chevy Avalanche both had a similar feature and I was surprised when the Maverick was announced back in 2021 that Ford didn't add this from the beginning. That would be a really nice feature to have.

I like the idea, but there is a ton of "stuff" behind the seat back of my 22Lariat. They'd have to move all of it somewhere. Maybe under the seat. But then all of that storage would be gone. I wouldn't want to lose that.
