Got a chance a while back to join east county off roaders on Facebook to do a very mild run and do some flexing and rub checks while giving for a good cause. Here is a few pics , mostly fire roads through south laguna area to boulevard area then finished in lark canyon , part of McCain valley .
I was solo and forgot the GoPro again so not too many good shots .
here is a link of about 20 pics

Looks like a ton of fun! Man, I wish Texas had "HuUUUGE ..tracks of land" that was publicly accessible for off grid camping. Other than state parks, everything here is privately owned, unless I'm mistaken, which is often the case. If I am, someone please enlighten me. I'd love to try my hand at off grid camping.
That is pretty much accurate. Texas is 95.8% privately owned land. California is 47.9% privately owned. Kind of goes back to founding philosophies. In Texas, it was “use all this land to get rich”. In California is was “look at this natural beauty. We have to protect it from humans”.

Even with all your suspension upgrades the truck still looks low compared to a couple of the lifted jeeps in the pics,
the jeeps I saw in the pics are moderately modified with what appear to be 33-35" tires.

yes, bwicka's maverick is lower than those jeeps of course. and more critically for offroad it has radically less departure angle than a jeep (or bronco etc) so it can't crawl-- but prerunning is not crawling. it's baja 1000, high speed type stuff.

the truck would be awesome at scca rallycross. well... awesome is relative. it would be in a modified awd class which is where some very fast things live, things that have a lot more horsepower. but still, who cares, I'd most definitely try it if he has any local events without a few hours' drive. for me it's NEOklahoma, about 2 hours. we used to have rallycross in the local scca chapter but the landowner got dust & noise complaints from his neighbors and shut it down. :crying:

It may be lower in some parts , but I have 11 1/2” down the center or majority of the vehicle ,no live axle pumpkin hanging down , I also have the full set of jcr skid plates ( both sides and gas tank) this protects and stiffens a lot underneath, replacing the useless felt things.
with the new crossmember and larger tires/longer a arms and axles, should be closer to 13 1/2” total soon.
most were 35” 37” tires , a couple 39” and a 42” tire on the blue jeep. This run was basically fireroads with ruts and a little bit of offshoots that had some challenges. Rate it a 2 out of 10 in difficulty., was mainly testing rear flex and needs for extending everything 3” per side in the rear .its all a long process with testing all along the way to prove the parts.

Looking great. I really hope for takes cues from you and does a Raptor version. Even if we only get 31s(and clearance for em), more suspension articulation, flares, and stickers id be happy. One thing I just thought of that could be a game changer on a Raptor spec Maverick would be a lower final gear. With the Lobo they were willing to pull a gear from the trans, so it wouldnt be that much of a stretch for them to get a gear in their that sits at a lower ratio than the Tremors after the 31" tire is calculated in.

That would give it more kick aswell without having to increase power as much. Though a simple off the shelf turbo and tune would be great.
I hope they also give the Tremor a modular bumper like they did for the Bronco Sport
