Maverick Joshua Tree Desert Run - Trip Report & Pics

We were in Joshua a few years ago. Went down Old Geology Road in a 2WD vehicle with decdent clearance. At a certan point we started going down hill over sand covered rock and, envisioning spinning wheels on the way back up, discretion go the best of me and I turned around. DO you think that road is doable in a 2WD?

I haven’t done that road so really can’t say. But I did Anza’s Fish Creek though. Mav was flawless especially for a road mostly dared only by Jeeps and Tacomas. I obviously took plenty recovery equipment.
