The ride I drive the most .
Just got back yesterday from a 2 week , 2500 mile trip .
Did the math .....that amount of fuel I burned would have lasted me THREE years in my low mileage Mav Hybrid ....

Just four or five of my favorite rides.

1. The Porsche Cayman S is fun but still not a 911, but the PDK transmission is most impressive.
2. Austin-Healey Mark III-3000 (1967)- still think it was one of the most beautiful cars ever made, in-line 6 cylinder was very quick...hated to sale but military called me for duty and no place to keep it. Bought for $2,900, found it 30 years later (Googling the Vn#, found it on Autotrader) and the guy wanted $88,000, a very sought after classic. Lucas: "Prince of Darkness Wiring Harness".
3. Porsche 911 Turbo (aka 930) - Truly amazing car. 1990 era stock car that could do zero-60 in a bit over 3 seconds...But most impressive is red lined at 80 mph in 2nd gear. Almost too much power for public roads. I drove the 930 for 13 years and would still have it if it had not been stolen. But it did like to eat rear tires.
4. Winnebago RV - just a neat way to drive from Atlanta to the Arctic Circle (Alaska) and back to Atlanta...20,000 mile trip.
5. BMW-F800-GS- have more miles on these two wheels than any 4 wheels I've ever owned, mostly cross country 6 or 7 times times.
6. Can-Am Ryker Rally - Current ride - Three wheeler.

And the Maverick Hybrid would make my Top 10 favorite vehicles.

Short story : I pulled it out of my gramps garage with 14,000 original miles , back in 1987 . Currently has 19,000 miles , original , except a repaint .
I drive it to local car shows .
1961 Galaxie Starliner .
390 4 bbl . Automatic , with power steering , I added power brakes ....

Nice, the Galaxies were an upscale fairlane. My fairlane was originally my uncle Buddy’s and he wouldn’t spend a dime more than was absolutely necessary. If he could get one without a radio, even a heater I think he would buy it. And no he didn’t give me the car had to buy it. He next vehicle after he sold me the fairlane was a 66 F100 barebones 6 cylinder, 3 on tree truck.

My son has my Maverick so this is my "other" ride. Merill, size 14, model year 2025. The dashboard you see is of the wife's Italian Jeep (Renegade). I'm either walking or waiting.

After around 30 years of ownership I just sold the National this summer to a friend I worked with. At least I know where the car is. My last ride in it was on a Sunday morning on the LIE out east and I parked it right in his back yard. Now that's what I call great service.

My wife has a Camry but it’s not exactly notable compared to most here.

I’m in the wrong income bracket and have a garage too small to even consider having another “fun” car in addition to my Mav but I scratch the itch with my bikes.

Touring road bike, I use it for everything from rail trail touring, commuting, gravel racing, and cyclocross. It’s a steel frame so it’s heavy but it’s my workhorse!

Enduro Mountain Bike -160mm suspension front and back. It’s a lot of fun to point down hill and let rip.

2020 pp2, 46,000 miles. Manual transmission with Barton hybrid 3 short shifter, and Corsa cat-back.

1995 Melex 512e 36v Golf Cart. Converted to 36v 105ah Lithium with all LED lighting. Steet legal, it's our 2nd vehicle. Get about 30-40 miles on a 5 hour charge depending on terrain and whether I have a passenger. Tops out safely at 25mph on flats, which is the speed limit for LSV (low speed vehicles) in Arizona.

Going to get rid of the Miami Vice sticker scheme and repaint it (Maybe Hot Pepper Red to match my Maverick), reapholster the seats (probably a mocha or expresso as that's the vinyl I have already), and chop the roof by 4". Might change the ugly front end a bit with a different model year front lower valance. That will be it for improvements.

Next personal cart will be a 4 to 8 year old Yamaha, ClubCar, or EZGO Golf Course Off-Lease that I will convert to 72v Lithium and modify to be a LSV compliant. .

FYI, Melex is a Polish brand. This cart was manufactured in Poland.

In immaculate condition.
Surprisingly the Maverick gets more looks for the first few years it came out.
Now it’s back to the Corvette.

Just a little bit faster and louder than the Maverick. Much faster.
Gas mileage is not good , like the Maverick XL
