Most teardrops will not cause issues being towed by the hybrid. They are very light.

Many of these new light-weight campers are pretty cool, look very functional, but man, I can't get over the prices of some of them. I personally just can't connect the value dots, cool as they are.

If you are willing to drive 55 mph the Hybrid will pull anything the 4k EB will.

Wind drag is the killer, not so much the weight.

Personally I'm going with a larger, more comfortable trailer. I'm happy to drive under the speed limit when necessary.
On vacation, I want to see the scenery at 55 or maybe 60 mph when conditions are right.

Even the GFC is $7,700 without any options. $12,500 as a trailer is not too bad considering it's aluminum framed, well designed & insulated.

If you want cheap, check out: IN STOCK | Outbound Trailer

This is my biggest problem. Seeing teardrops that cost the same as a full size camper makes zero sense to me.

If you think it's too expensive, build your own.

I like to look for the "value" in something, not necessarily the cheapest (price) thing. I just don't see it here, *for me*.

Seriously! If I were in the market, I might give it a go. I suspect this is partially why these micro ultra-light campers are so expensive......lot's of manual custom fabrication, plus low volume equals high cost.

Building with all aluminum is expensive. Have you priced square tubing lately?

Agreed, I don't see what they bring to the table.

Get a nice big tent and air mattress, more room and more comfortable.

$12,500 for a bed!!! and a short one at that - no standing up to change, heck might not be able to even sit up in bed! People that love Tesla's and are into tech / entrepreneurs / influencers - get the bright idea that they can over-engineer, over-market and over-price something of their own and its automatically a good product somehow.

Use case: Maybe you're worried about Grizzlies? But, $12.5k pays for a lot of nice hotel rooms nearby, I'm sure.

"This is not a camping trailer.
It is your own space that you can bring anywhere."

lol

I'm going to start saying this whenever I drive somewhere...

"This is not a truck. This is my own space that I can bring anywhere."

Then when we go camping: "This is not a tent. This is my own space that I can bring anywhere."

Okay, everyone now: "This is not a Coleman stove. This is my own kitchen that I can bring anywhere."
