Bought Oedro soft trifold for my 2022 XLT. About $175 and has been great. Three years and no problem with flapping. Haven't weather stripped so get some seepage at tailgate but none around rest of bed. Was easy to install even for 78 year old couch potato.

I am happy with this one. Some reviews complained about massive leaking, but mine came with weather stripping and leaks have not been a problem.

Mine came with the Rough County tri-fold. I'm generally happy with it. Biggest thing for me is it gives me locking space for stuff on a trip.

do occasionally haul dirt/gravel/ and am thinking it might be better to have the tonneau off then. small bed is challenge enuf for the guys to load with their giant scoops and i'd hate to further hamper them with a tonneau in the way

The Lomax Tri-Fold is designed to be easily removed. For all these suggestions you are getting, I'd try to find some pictures of them after a few years of use. A lot of them don't age so well or hold up to a hail storm. Do you get hail storms in Zimbabwe?

I've got the Truxedo X15 pro and for what I need (soft rollup, rain/snow protection) it's perfect.
If you live in the ghetto or park outside all the time then get a hard folder.

I bought a hard, hinged (tri-fold) tonneau for $389.99 off Amazon in January, 2025, right after getting the truck. The brand is XTWEEX. It's worked great so far. No leaking and supports my weight if I want to stand on it to clean or wax the top of the truck. Takes a little getting used to undoing the clips when you need to fold it up but no biggie. I'm convinced it helps the mileage. Been averaging 38+ and got 40 mpg on a 1-hr, mostly highway drive last night.

I got the Flowkottu one from Amazon (the one that Glen mentioned earlier) and I'm very happy with it. just a dribble of water in the carwash.
Drove through some pretty heavy rain on my way out to Utah and I had no leaks at all, stayed bone-dry.
