There have been too many posts to count about how easy the interior plastics scratch. I take good care of my cars so I wasn't too worried. I thought others were being careless. I was wrong. I have had my XLT for almost 4 months now. The first week I put an annoying scratch on the drivers door panel with my keys in hand. I put a few other small ones with just my fingernails. Also a few down by my feet getting out. I tried Plexus on them. It is great stuff on most hard plastics. However, It didn't help much. I didn't want to use Armor-all because it can be too shiny and oily. I went back to an old faithful that I used years ago to detail car interiors. Lemon Pledge. Sprayed it on and buffed off with a microfiber cloth. Wow! It worked great! With the added bonus of lemony freshness.
Thought I would pass it along. 🙂

I keep telling people I lightly use WD-40 (LIGHTLY) and a micro fibre cloth. It works. People keep telling me I'm an idiot. It works and its cheap.
But Pledge smells better.

Good to know. It just doesn't smell as good as Pledge. 😄

Ahhh, the good old days. Lemon Pledge for the interior and Future floor wax for the tires. The good old days. :ROFLMAO: (y)

A chemical free and permanent repair can be achieved on HDPE (our interiors) with light use of a heat gun - carefully.

That lemon pledge also works well as a wax coating for the exterior panels. It contains carnauba wax.
I was told to use that on my motorcycle a long time ago, and no dish soap.

I have to laugh, back in the 1960's I used to wipe my 1930 Ford hotrod roadster down with Lemon pledge at car shows to make it shine. Many people said I had the best smelling car in the show! View attachment 169552

Great tip. I have quite a few scratches that need tending to. Thanks for sharing.
