I like pin-striping, but surprised you and the OP didn't put lettering on the tailgate.
I'm looking for lettering that will match the "burn gold" color of the pin striping. Please let me know if you have any idea where I can find it!

Anyone do this on a Velocity Blue yet? I was thinking either White Stripes, or even Black/Red
I also have a VB and I've been thinking of gold or possibly red, then match it inside with some gap trim of the same color.

I always do my own decals & stripes. I originally did these in Matte Black and Silver, but decided to go bolder so I changed the silver pinstripes to yellow, then added the matching side stripes. This is the last vehicle I did.

I would go to a custom paint shop. They might do it for cheap because its quick and easy and may get more buisness from you on a whole custom paint job. Plus you will get something with real art to it.

I see a lot of HYBRID badging, anybody put 2.0 Turbo in Italics on the tailgate or maybe front fenders?
I'm ordering an Iconic Silver Mav and thinking of pin striping and maybe some vinyl Turbo lettering in Black or maybe dark Grey on Silver.

The tape pinstripe looks great. all you guys did an awesome job. The only problem with the tape striping is polish and wax gets left on the upper and lower edges and dries white. Be careful guys waxing your trucks!

Billnoroville Love that Ranchero grill badge. I wish Ford reserected that name for this truck instead. Having owned and hot rodding a 74 Maverick grabber back in 83 I'm still having trouble getting used to it being a truck now! lol

I'm afraid I copied you. Thanks for the idea! I love how it looks on my hot pepper red!

Thanks for posting these pics! I have an Alto Blue Lariat that I've long been wanting to do some bronze accents on the Exterior, ala 90's Eddie Bauer Editions. Seeing the gold on the red, yep, I wanna move forward with some bronze/gold pinstripes, and in this style as you and the Oxford White did. I won't do the lower stripe on the tailgate as I have chrome letters which I'll have painted the matching pin strip color. Going to do the front headlight surround/bar thing that silver or whatever, and do the lug nuts in the color, and MAYBE the silver parts of the wheels (undecided). Still trying to figure out what I want done with the black insert/LARIAT part. Oh, and I didn't say it, the strips look fantastic!!

Wonder if that gold/bronze would look good on my Velocity Blue?

Some of these don't look too bad. I wouldn't buy any cheap pin striping on ebay. I put a red stripe on a tailgate bench. It turned pink in 1 summer.

Is anyone considering adding pinstriping to theirs? My black 2000 Ranger has goldish double pin stripes that looks really nice, as did my old white Camry (black double stripe). But with how modern vehicles are a bit more swoopy, I can’t decide if pinstriping will be a good look.

Has anyone done their own and if so, if it looks bad, is it easy to remove? I’m getting Velocity Blue so was thinking a dark grey double pinstripe might look nice to match the dark plastics. I found pics of newer F150s with striping and it looked kind of meh, mainly because of the body lines with the window drop.

For professional installation, does anyone know a recent cost for double pinstripes?
If you have a steady hand, paint away 😎
