I was thinking about doing some 'bed' DIY projects. Maybe do a hard tonneau cover, some Youtube videos out there already. Or, maybe some bar/racks for camping gear.

Not directly related to the bed. I built my own boat, similar to a canoe, but it’s long and narrow (it would stick out 8-1/2’ beyond the tailgate). I trailer it now, even though it only weighs 85 lbs. Would like to build the boat in the drawing, both ends detach and nest in the center section. The center section is 48” x 54” a perfect fit inside the Maverick bed! No trailer needed!

I was thinking some led pods I have laying around would go good down by the tow hooks. Otherwise kinda thought about some sort of led accent lighting across the top of the grill where the fake openings are.

TOO MANY :p:p:p First would be trimming the wheel well pinch weld to fit bigger tires, if it’s necessary like the Bronco Sport. Second thinking of a bed rack system so I can have a 2 tier bed setup for off-road/camping. Third would be some mounts for additional lighting upfront.

I wouldn't mind having some lights somewhere on the grill or bumper. Maybe a backup light too. I was thinking of building some divider with a few hooks for holding up grocery bags in the bed. Of course, with a DIY tonneau folding cover.

Sharp looking boat. When I was a youngster my dad & I talked about making a small wooden fishing boat.

It'll be interesting to see what "mods" folks come up with for the bed. I'm not the idea guy, but I do like copying things others come up with or maybe adjusting them for my needs. Probably going to flip the back seat up and then make a platform of some type to give my Golden a nice flat surface to occupy in the back.

I am doing my own rails for the bed and will probably do custom dividers to put my tools and ladder when I have to go to a job out of state with eyelets in different places to lock the tool boxes and coolers to.

As soon as we get it, looking like  late Jan.
We'll be adding a baseplate from etrailer so we can sell our almost impossible to setup/unsetup for towing our Chreeke that takes 5 min to HOOK UP and maybe 10+ min of push this button, turn on, DO NOT start, put fuse in, flip switch, start, shift...ops you took your foot off the brake, START OVER grrrrr
