Passenger Rear Window stuck in down position.

Just got this issue today on my 2022 Maverick 5,555 miles. Rolled down, and did not go back up. Just got back from TEAM FORD in Las Vegas 5445 Drexel Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89130 , Turns out the part is on back order and won't be in for ONE MONTH. So the Service tech basically said i will need to figure out a way to cover my window and drive with it busted for ONE MONTH. Super disappointed in this dealerships Service dept.

Good to hear of such good customer service. They should be ashamed to treat customers the way they do.

It's an inconvenience not an actual safety issue, while still being a major pita. From Fords view making the repair has the same cost per unit as a recall but unless all eventually fail they save money. From the owners view they are only inconvenienced if they actually have a failure. If there is a recall you either have it done or it stays on the trucks record forever.

Mine just started doing this. Between the constant dash creaks and squeaks and this there's no way I'd recommend one to anybody

Are you looking for everyone to send in their VIN and dealer name/location if we are having trouble? My dealer is doing what they can, but I'm looking at a September 12 part delivery.

I’m having the same issue with my 2024 Ford Maverick. The passenger window got stuck down and wouldn’t roll back up. Dealerships in my area want to keep the truck in their lot instead of having a technician actually look at it. I’ve been driving around with the window taped up, and after five days of repeatedly pressing the switch, it finally went up. I’m now avoiding using the windows altogether, but I still can’t get it properly fixed because all the local dealerships are so busy they’re not interested in taking a look.

I taped over my rear window switches. Not so much because of the TSB rear window problems - but because I became tired of hitting the rear window switches by mistake instead of the front!
