In Nw_adventure's case almost certainly. Assembled strut (shock) length is a set length regardless of the spring length you cram into it. Can't get much lift with springs alone in the front. Gotta use spacers etc or a longer strut.
Or as Ford calls it SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY - FRONT. Suspension Strut :ROFLMAO:

You can stroke out the rear shocks as well
The best lifts are always a mix of alot of small changes that add up to the best functionality.

Bump. Anyone figured this out yet? Looking into lifting my FX4, but I want something mild and don't want to do spacers.

Call your local Ford dealership parts department. It's that simple...
It's not. Even with a part number they are still not available and "backordered". Plus, we need to know exactly what needs to be replaced to make the swap. If there is any steering components that were changed to accommodate for the added height and such... Not likely, because the added height is minimal, but we don't know. There has not been a single direct comparison to steering/suspension parts between something like an FX4 and Tremor yet. If we can find part number diagrams for the difference then it will be helpful to know what part numbers to ask for and go from there.

We need a pioneer with multiple Mavericks lol. Rip the struts, sway bars, and any links out and lay them out to compare.

That's odd? I've ordered plenty of parts that were backordered and the P/N has always been available?

Part numbers change from time to time, but the number gets created the second the part is made. I'm not saying you're wrong, but this is the first time I've heard of such a thing.

If a part exists, or even if it isn't made anymore, a part number is/was attached to it to identify it.

Anyways, good luck getting the part number.

Speculation: Tremor springs are softer while it's shocks are stiffer. That may end up being a rough ride.
The Tremor (my Tremor) does not have a hard ride. I am comparing it to a larger truck. :)

Mine rides sooooo great and I even did some goosing it on a gravel trail( my road and driveway) the other day. The drainage dips didnt even upset it at 40mph!

The Tremor worked well on the sand and you know how that surface can be. It didn't shake the filling out of my teeth. :giggle:
