folk hi, just called my local dealer and they quoted me 532 for two rear shocks. Going to assume its FoMoParts but anyone have suggestions for a like replacement? i saw KYBs Excel for 40 on Rockauto. Im trying to shy away from the Monroe. Also so Bilstein's but they are pricy. what would the forum recommend? I have 140k miles and i havent changes these so def past due. thx

Not really enough information here. Do you carry heavy loads, tow trailers, or drive off-road?

Hi, you’re right sorry; no I use the truck for commuting and tend to just use the truck for minor work and recreation . Don’t tow. I was fine with the OEM but was shocked “ no pun” at the price ford was charging for their replacement. So I wanted to get feedback on what else would work. Thx

I can't help you with the shocks but did I read that correct that you have 140K on a '22 Hybrid? That is some impressive mileage for sure. Any issues with the truck?

With 140K miles I would probably shoot for all four shocks to be replaced. Are you still on the original brake pads?

Thanks, other than the recalls of which most were software patches, not really. ecvt was shifting a bit off at 100k but they did a software upgrade, went away. The engine mounts were replaced at 120k. the original continental tires i ran thru 100k. now of course they are cupped cause i never replaced the struts/shocks but that's on me. 44mpg mixed hwy/city

Nice to see a Hybrid with well over 100k miles! - I expected the brakes would quite a few miles, given much of the braking is regenerative, and nice to know that is the case.
