Trying to find the part number for the piece that the door latch and lock cables snap into when they are attached to the interior door handle. I found out the hard way that portion does not come with the interior handle. I installed speakers and when I was taking the pass front door panel off the little latch bit that holds it to the door handle just fell off, and after taking a closer look it appears to have been bent or partially snapped before I removed that bit. I suspect the dealer did some damage when they replace that door panel, but I can't see any way to prove it at this point. I am trying to reattach the little clip that locks it in, but it's not looking good.

I have concerns it may only be part of the door lock mechanism, but any help would be appreciated.

In the same boat, the part has no numbers printed or molded and I’m striking out looking at the online parts diagrams.

Sorry, I haven't been around. I ended up plastic welding the bit back together, but it appears to be part of the cable/lock assembly best I could find, unfortunately.

Looks like it would clip into the blue part in the center of the image. From what I was able to find it's part of that assembly, and only available with the complete assembly. It's the part that clips the cables into the mechanism.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. 219A64 is the latch assembly. I see 4 part #s. LH & RH. And then whether it has passive entry or not. Retail price ranging from $97.48 to $369.73 right now.

I ordered the right side (LJ6Z78431B14B) and it came in the other day while I was out of town. Too cold here to pull the door panel, but for as much as I messed with it this looks like the correct part! I wonder if it wasn't available earlier, as I was able to find this now by searching the same keywords I used before, aside from a lot of results showing it does not fit the Maverick.

Thanks again for finding this @alex159569 !

My pleasure! It was indeed the right part, I took some photos. Interestingly the replacement has part numbers and Ford logo stamped into it, whereas the original had no markings whatsoever. Perhaps this piece wasn’t even in the parts catalog yet, or a weird fluke of buying a 1st year model.

Now nobody ask me how installation went in the cold, I TOTALLY DID NOT break the interior door handle while trying to snap in this white piece 🤦‍♂️

Man, if if was the other side, I have a new interior handle I ordered when trying to source this guy I'd send your way for cheap! Sorry about the breakage, but def shop around as the pricing varies on most of these parts!

You’re too kind thank you! I was surprised that the handle is reasonably priced, $40 retail and found a used one for $25 so the lesson wasn’t too painful 😂 After driving German cars for years it could definitely be worse!
