As a fellow resident of Texas, but a transplant from farther north, this reply made me laugh a little. For those that don't know, Texan perception of "winter" can be a little skewed, as it is entirely reasonable here to be 75 and sunny on Christmas =)I live in central Texas. I purchased my Lariat Maverick the last of December. During the dead of winter, the touch sensors on the door handles work just fine for me. Even when the temperatures were down to the low 60’s.
No, they won’t work with gloves on but I can attest that they will work with a nose when your hands are full. That’s the only other body part that I have tried though.
For my fellow Texans, "up north", they have this thing called winter where it gets really cold, like water freezes outside. So, it's like that 1-2 weeks in February we get, except way colder and last for 3-4 months.
