I'm not sure that's an option with the BMS system, as I think the sensor is integrated into the positive cable, unfortunately.
If you do decide to look at capacitors, do some digging on them as many being sold are so small they are virtually useless. There are companies that make...
I've been searching around to find BAP part #s with little luck. Is there, or can we start a thread to identify and save all the BAP part #s for those interested in swapping parts? If anyone has confirmed part #s for headlights, badges, etc. please post them.
Thanks!
I've been searching for the BAP XLT headlight part #s but not having luck. If anyone has the correct part #s please post them or link a thread. Thanks!
Build looks awesome! Quick question you may be able to answer: Do you have an approx distance form the face of the sub box to the bottom of the seat? I want to try running a long excursion sub in that specific box but don't want to risk hitting the seat with the surround.
Thanks!
IMO, you're nearly halfway to an aftermarket set of wheels. Unless you are in love with the design, I'd be shopping before powder coating the OE wheels.
If you can measure the total surface area of the pistons in both sets of calipers, you can get a rough idea of if any bias changes would be helpful and/or necessary. It's not comprehensive mind you, but will get you in the ball park.
How did you test for bias issues?
Updating again. Dashboard was replaced and after some back and forth about issues with a pillars, they reinstalled them and damaged the dash again. More scratches and also damage to the a pillars now too. Looking like they will be replacing the dash again, as there aren't any other options it...
Just updating this as I have not made any progress on repairs. Ford Customer service started a case, but directed me to the service manager to follow up. This is the guy that I cannot get a hold of still. Don't have time for a couple weeks to go back in person, but at this rate I may end up...
I had the airbag recall completed a some months ago and the dealer scratched up the dash, door panel, a number of trim panels and left grease on the a pillars and headliner. They attempted to repair the dash, which came out rather poor and agreed to replace the dash and the other trim panels...
Just wanted to update this as they attempted to repair the damages unsuccessfully, as expected. They have to touch up the passenger door panel still, and clean the headliner and a pillars as they missed that again. The dealer also ordered both lower B pillar trim panels, the driver's door panel...
You should probably remove or edit your post then, since it's unrelated to the coilovers discussed:
The Scale coilover strut bodies are not the same size/dimension as the OEM struts. The link mounting points are lower/closer to the strut bar than the OEM.
Are you on coilovers or lowering springs?
Update: I'm not getting anywhere with my planned install as the truck is back at the dealer trying to deal with all the interior damage. I don't expect they are going to be able to repair it, and likely aren't going to want to replace everything, so it...
