Has anyone installed aftermarket parking sensors on their bumper any suggested brand? I had it on my last vehicle and it helps me a lot due to neck injuries not having look back extending my neck. I don’t have it on my maverick any suggestion? I thought about the dealer but I’m sure it’s gonna cost a lot, thanks in advance.

I have no first-hand experience with them, but Rostra has parking sensor kits. I'm sure @wsimmonsVOXX can help with any questions. He has answered many questions in the cruise control thread.

I'd love if there's a 4pin powered rear sensor that bluetooths to my phone. I'm somewhat interested in a rear parking sensor but I'm not willing to spend money on a box that sits on my dash and I have to wire it as well.

Might be worth checking with the dealer in a few months to see if it is something they can install.

Thanks for the mention. We offer parking sensors for the back of the vehicle via our BackZone brand which power on when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, and parking sensors for the front with our FrontZone brand that plug into the OBD-II port to power on and off automatically when the vehicle is within a certain speed range such as when parking or slowing down at a stop light. When my hybrid Maverick arrives I'll be doing installation videos for both. Likewise, we offer blind spot detection systems which I'll be working to install but need to eyeball the bumper in a little more detail to see which of our kits will work.

I don't mean to try to sell you too hard but we are consistently told by installers that these are the most accurate and defect-free parking and blind spot detection systems on the market. Head over to Amazon and search for "rostra frontzone" or "rostra backzone" to read some real consumer reviews.

Many thanks for the info I see that there’s only one left in Amazon.
