Has anyone with a Black maverick or other color thought about painting brake calipers red with the black rims? I did that with my mustang but wondering about the MAV. Good or bad idea?

Very good point.Personally, I think painted calipers look best when it’s on a legitimate full-floating forged/billet 4+ piston caliper.
Well silly looking in eyes of beholder. Im seeing Pickups bigly lifted with the front end maybe 4-6 inches higher than the rear. Usually accompanied by tires and rims 4-6 inches past fender wells. Not my cup of tea but seems to be gaining traction. This is why I ask. I don't want my MAV to look stupid
As soon as I picked up my F.E.R.R. my eyes were drawn to the shinny metal calipers and I knew I needed to do something about it. The Rapid Red in person is a RICH DEEP red, so it was important to me to be subtle and not take away from the truck itself. I decided to order from G2 USA and do a color match (D4). This was the 1st time for me to paint calipers and it was a bit of work (3 coats), but nothing overly complicated. I was very pleased that the actual color turned out even deeper then the truck and accomplished the subtle affect that I wanted.Has anyone with a Black maverick or other color thought about painting brake calipers red with the black rims? You could get ford's school bus color that's on some of the work trucks, I'm 99% sure its the same color just without the metal lol.Don’t care for the shiny aluminum color myself. if I painted mine, likely would go with Cyber Orange. Although have no idea how entitled painting brake calipers are.
