Paint matched bug deflector???

Not real keen on throwing a black bug deflector on an Avalanch gray Maverick. Are there any paint matched deflectors available. Custom paint would be cost prohibitive.

What not just apply PPF ( Paint Protection Film). It will prevent rock chips and bugs

I’ve never done it myself, I take all of my vehicles to certified installers and have them do it

PPF takes a lot of patience to do yourself, and you don't want to buy the cheap stuff either. If you do itself at least get a good name brand.

Nobody selling clear bug deflectors anymore. You would paint the back so the front is where the bugs would hit.

Years ago, AVS used to have a clear bug shield. I had one on my '08 Mariner, and loved it. Unsure why someone still doesn't make one?

I would buy a clear one for the protection. The smoke color would take away from the look of the whole vehicle.

Decades ago they were clear and the back side got painted. Not that complicated.

My 2 cents on this. you can buy color matched spray paint. So, find the bug defector you want. give it a good sanding on the painted side to let it bond. spray paint it the color you want. clear it. and you're good.
