Yessir, I have a switch from f-150 and they run just like OEM. I ended up getting the switch from eBay because it was the cheapest place I could find it.
I had Antonio, @Vtec87pr1 , make a wiring harness. He makes the wiring harness for people that are plug n play.
as far as the way the kit mounts, I used the mounting that came inside the kit.
Have not found any intake yet. S&B does have one in the engineering phase that I have seen. Nothing else out there that I can find.
I do have a 3 inch custom downpipe with kooks cat and custom exhaust. I also have the CVF FMIC.
No particular reason. Just heard from previous owners that it was one of the better ones in the market. Sorry it took so long to answer, I wasn’t receiving my notifications from the post.
I do not know what pin is for backlighting, so I used the wires for the actual fogs and ran them into the correct pin in the wire harness so, no we are not talking about the same thing because you are talking about wiring your fog lights directly splicing into the headlights so the come on...
Pin 5 is brown and that for the left fog light, pin 4 is yellow/orange and that is for the right. Mine will be pinned and ran through the BCM into a f-150/lobo switch to keep the stock look
I took my entire bumper off and then seperated the lower bumper. Since I didn’t remove just the lower I wouldn’t be able to tell you. I did state earlier that you don’t have to take the whole bumper off because it’s just in the lower bumper but since I didn’t remove just the lower I can’t give...
You might be able to make it work, but the LOBO Fig Lights will definitely require more fabrication. The housings are very different shapes. The F-150 switch is the same as the LOBO switch if I’m not mistaken
I have not used their template. I will be wiring them and using a stock F-150 switch in the cabin for a completely stock look. If I’m unable to figure it out there are some Maverick guys in my area that I will seek help from
Yessir, I purchased the DD kit for the 22-24 Mav and cut it and worked with it to make it fit. I’ve never liked flush mounted fog lug lights on the bumpers so I made it to where it fit in to the hole. That way I could get the “factory” look.
as for the bumper, you only have to remove the...
I have the tow hooks on my lariat and fit the DD Kit. The problem with the LOBO fog lights is the housing they come in doesn’t work well to be able to fit because it’s a completely different shape. Could it be done, probably, but as much as a pain as these were, the LOBO lights would be even...
Yes, I wanted the 4k tow package so the LOBO wasn’t a fit for me. So I made sure I had fog lights. Fogs are a must for me.
I also agree with @sg777 i too would have spent more to get fogs from factory
