I have manual mode enabled as well as always having my gear displayed on my 2022 Maverick. The button on my shifter switches it to manual mode where it'll hold whatever gear I want until I stop or run it up to the redline. I'm tuned by Ryan Martin with Engineered Motorsports.

Yeah, that was done through Cobb tuning, I definitely recommend Ryan if you're looking for a full tune.

I have an OTS map that someone at Cobb sent me with SST enabled, so I know it can be enabled on the OTS maps. If you don't want a full tune you might ask him about enabling it on your current tune for a small fee.

yes but with the cobb you actually will have manual mode working like it supposed to . compared too forscan.

If you have a manual shift button then why do you have a cluster that doesn't have it? I'm a little confused here since most all my experience is with F150 & SuperDuty and not Mavericks.

basically users on here have figured out how to retrofit a steering wheel with paddle shifters and make the necessary wiring changes and forscan changes to make the paddle shifters functional. The only problem is, we cannot figure out what coding parameters to change to make Low mode on the gear shifter to instead operate as Manual mode (it may not be possible through forscan changes alone). It's possible through a custom tune with a Cobb tuner. I was just curious if you had any information on what could be changed to make this possible. Thank you

Not sure if this will work but a SST (select shift transmission) is normally defined in the PCM so a change in PCM to a 2 shown below would be something to try.

That coding change did make the paddle shifters functional but did not enable manual mode on the gear shifter. I may try to update or change the firmware of the gear shifter module and see if that has any affect on enabling manual mode.

Also, I believe I figured out the coding to make this steering wheel switch below functional. It will be nice if sport mode can be turned on with just one click of a button. The 2025 Mavericks have the selectable drive modes button on the right steering wheel switch as well. This will be nice to have on the 2022-2024 mavericks. Im going to test out the coding tomorrow.

So for the 25 Lariat without paddle shifters installed. Is it possible to enable the gear indicator using Forscan? Some coding guys are able to enable it. But nobody has shared this info here.
