P0B24 Hybrid Battery A - Unstable

The Mav has 132k miles is it's past the warranty. This happened Thursday last week while my wife was driving home. I got a notification on my app saying

My wife called. She said it's driving fine so I told her to bring it home.
The CEL light was on so I checked it with Car Scanner app and this is what I got.

Been driving it quite a bit since and I don't really feel anything off. Battery SOC and voltage seem stable so, will keep the wife driving it and see if the message comes back.

What do you guys think?

Too bad your state no longer follows CARB or you'd still have a warranty on the pack.

BECM P0B24:00
Sets if one module cell voltage deviates from the average module cell voltage for 15 seconds. The powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator and MIL illuminates and charging/discharging of the high voltage battery is limited.

For DTC's P0B24:00 electric motor propulsion will be limited reducing vehicle power.

If you've cleared the codes, it requires sitting with the key off for greater than 24 hours for the BECM to attempt HV battery cell rebalancing and evaluation.

I'm sure this is a mistake, but here's a salvage hybrid battery with less than 19K miles on it in your state (Staunton Wrecking Yard) for $60.25. They usually go for closer to $1K.

@BoboysTruck , did the code stay on or go away? Just curious what you ended up doing. I just got the same code this morning, and I'm at 85K miles. Seems to drive just like normal, fwiw. I use my truck for running service calls, and I'm trying to gather as much info as I can prior to calling the Ford dealer. I just don't have time for them to fiddle around, and I'm hoping I can speed up the process with more info to give them.

I know another user on here had their hybrid battery replaced with that same code, and they were having some "bucking" issues when slowing down as well(me too).
