Learned something new today. Was running some ham radio gear and had a 120v to 12v plugged into the console outlet and radio equipment was drawing 6 to 10 amps I suspect.
I was talking and radio and power supply shut down then 5 seconds later came back on. When radio pulled too much power it would turn off the outlet hen come back on.
I was surprised as I thought it would blow a fuse if too much draw but it just pauses momentarily.
I wonder what type of system can do that?
I turned down radio output and it didn’t do it again but did test it 4-5 times and each time it shut off then came back on.
