For everyone asking about the transmission, the trans will live just fine. We arent shocking the trans with instant torque. The 2.3 is an easy swap, mine has 10k miles on it and runs great.

I'm assuming you are doing the engine swaps yourself? How long does it take you to swap a maverick engine? Level of difficulty?
Try as I may, it will not let me upload any more pics? They will not upload. I stated at 9am, took an hour lunch and had on the floor in 5ish hours. Lots of parts swapping to be done, including oil pan. I'm still new on this site, any input on adding more pics to a already made post?

I'd still like to get a 8f40 from a lincoln corsair 2.0 fwd! All built and not bought btw

Simple bolt ons and tune killed the engine. I’m kinda glad I’m waiting for warranty to run out then I’m sending full beans on power. Are These 2.0s different than a focus st? My buddy has close to 400whp

they are different but not that bad either. Sometimes it’s just luck of the draw. My edge 2.0 has been tuned on e30 since day one I bought it. It’s been drag raced many times at the strip. Driven very hard all over the country. Hell I even set the cruise at 132mph for well over an hour on a trip once. That vehicle has over 265k miles and zero issues.
KN air filter, e30 tune from Livernois. And a gas pedal that’s all she’s had.

Well good news is that the short block is the outside same, but I will have to swap the front cover and oil pan. Did I mention that my done 2.3 came out of. 22 ranger?

I don’t believe that to be the case way to many 2.0 engines running his setup and more that outlast that. I have a few myself.
I think this is a one off. He has great parts and the safest tuner in the ecoboost world. I think it’s just a fluke.

Drag strip. What kind of 1/4 mile times were you getting . A LONG time ago I used to drag race. A life time ago.
So I do private track days so I can make 20-30 runs an afternoon with ease. I mainly try and change up vehicles when I go cause everything I have is modified.

With my 17 2.0 edge I was getting 13:8-13:6 with an e30 tune. I have fairly big heavy tires and rims in it.
I ran my 15 f150 most and that was a very consistent 12:6
I can’t recall off the top of my head what my Rs got. And have not run my gt500.
My new 23 150 has much more power, the 10 speed and launches at 22psi instead of 8 so I should see low 11’s with that.
