Hi,

I put order with my dealer last week. looking on all the emails flying around for people getting their Mav scheduled 6-8 months after they put their order means that I should expect mine to come by Jul-Sep of 2022!? in that case shouldn't it better to get a 2023 year model.

Sit on the order you have and see what happens. Put in a 2023 if it’s still not produced and want the 2023. It will likely be no earlier than 11/2023.

I ordered Jan. 24 and have been approved by Ford through the COVP process. When will see my truck? Will I see my truck? Who knows? But one thing I know for sure is I have a 100 percent better chance of getting a Maverick this year than anyone who didn't get an order in before the deadline.

Personally, my plan is to save money (bank the payments each month starting now) and hope it's here by fall. If I have to go buy a different vehicle at some point, nothing is lost. But honestly, I think I'm going to get a truck at some point.

Its prob gonna be a 23 anyway, so hopefully they price protect everyone with an order that gets converted

Or a 24 depending your dealers allocation

You should keep your order. If it becomes a 2023, you will be locked in at 2022 price.

You guys are funny. I bet I get my truck by October.
I truly hope you do, but I’ll bet there will be those who wait a couple years to get their order. Lots of small dealers with very low allocations out there that ordered.
