Just ordered-Should I get an email?

It looks like the reservation system is now closed. I talked to my dealer about a week ago and sent them my detailed order. I have not gotten any emails and it is also not showing in my ford account under reservations and orders. Is this because I did not go through ford.com website?
Will I get any emails since I just sent my dealer the details of my order?

It wouldn't show under reservations and orders until it was scheduled and you entered the VIN. But if you didn't get an order confirmation e-mail from Ford your best bet is to contact your dealer and check that the order was submitted. Although it's not uncommon for people not to get the confirmation for a variety of reasons.

Even with a VIN it likely won't show as an Order/Reservation on your Ford account. You will be able to use the VIN to add the car to your "garage" on your account but I think the majority of people on here have not had it show as an order/reservation in their account.

Email systems have been a bit erratic but you should at least get a confirmation email if done correctly. Beyond that, most everyone's experiences have been a bit different it seems.

Yeah, I would actually go into the dealership. They'll get your order and will make a copy of your driver's license. DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL THEY GIVE YOU YOUR ORDER SHEET! This will have your order details (trim/options) and things like: "Order Code", "Sales Code" and "Priority Code." Your order should have a priority code of anywhere from 10 to 19, this means it's a retail/customer order.

Thanks. I asked them to send me the order form and they sent me a preview. Im guessing they have not submitted the order yet. Im going to follow up with them. I think they may only enter orders once a weeks so hopefully I get a clear answer. The previews shows stock order priority code 80.

When they placed my order at my Ford Dealership, I got a confirmation email from Ford within just a few minutes.

*Edit* Sorry, I missed that you said they have it listed as an 80 stock unit. Yeah, I would absolutely pay these guys a personal visit and ensure they place the order and that they give you a PC of 10-19

Have been wondering about this. Is there some reason/incentive/advantage for the dealer to delay submitting an order? I ordered at the dealer June 25th, but Ford actually received my order July 14th.

Oh wow. I hope they don't wait a month to submit my order. Maybe they have met their September numbers and want to save for October numbers. I have no clue.

I ordered in August. I got my order conformation from Ford 40 days later. I am still waiting for a build date.

You are just now trying to place an order for a Ford Maverick all 2022's are closed till the 2023 opening of August 16th that's when you can start to order a new maverick until then you're pissing in the wind
