Ordered in June still no build date

I'm betting it's all coming down to the stupid dealer allocation. It is such a dinosaur process in this day and age and if Ford really ( I don't think they want to ) wants to go to order on demand, they need to end it or they are just going to have upset end customers who are left wondering why it takes so long. Who cares how many cars the dealer has sold? I'm just picking up my ordered car there because they are legally required to be involved.

Initially, the discount offers were great from the volume dealers. However, they are only allowed so many units per month. Buyers are now waiting >90 days for a BUILD date.

I was just curious if I'm the only idiot that ordered the maverick in early June and still doesn't even have a build date? I am constantly asking both ford and sales person for more details but all they say is that the order is level 2 priority and it should be scheduled soon..... very frustrating. We are days away from November, what are the chances I get my vehicle before 2022?

I ordered An ecoboost fx4 on June
23rd. My build date is still unscheduled.

To the OP,you are most definitely not alone, and that's just including other members here who ordered in June but haven't received a build date. That doesn't count the countless non-members who are also in the same boat (unfortunately).

I got my Order Accepted email on June 30 and received the schedule build email on October 14th telling me the build week is December 6. I did drop the spray in bed liner one week before I got the scheduled email. Hybrid XLT.

Other than the initial email, I haven't heard anything.

Small dealer in Georgia. Order for silver Lariet hybrid Lux confirmed June 11. Nothing since that confirmation. and I'm (supposedly) Priority 2. This customer certainly feels that Ford should give more priority to our order date. Very frustrating.

I (and probably many others) agree with that sentiment. I think all June orders should be just about all scheduled by now.

I would be frustrated too. I ordered in late June and finally got scheduled for 14 February. Before that I had never called Ford and when I did, I got scheduled the next week. I would call Ford Customer Service tomorrow with sales and order code at
