So the dealership I work at told me last month they received an email from their Ford rep stating 2 vehicles were going to be built this month. Another customers order and mine. I want to believe them. But I have called several times to Ford and this last time when I gave them the order code and sales code I was told they are no longer scheduling any more Mavericks to be built. So I should be looking for my build to be turned into a 2023 order now. Our sales managers are not the most up to date on any of this. Anyone else hear this? I am begging for help. If this doesn't go through I am ordering from another dealership.

If you don't have a VIN assigned, then the advise you got from FCS is probably sound.

This is what I honestly believe to be true.

I think that both could be true. Your dealership was told that certain orders (including yours) should schedule....but now things have changed.

It sounds like parts had been delayed and that they will not schedule as many 22s at the end as originally planned.

Our small dealership has also gotten allocation for various retail units (Maverick and others)....our reps said that certain vehicles were supposed to schedule....but then things changed.

I do think that some Mavericks are still being scheduled for another week or two..... but only vehicles w/ restricted options (like no hybrids, no Lux pkgs, etc).

4,000 eco boosts are to be scheduled this month. No Lux packages and no hybrids as was already stated.

So far as anyone knows, if you have received a VIN it will be built as a '22.

We have no lux package but it was a hybrid. Just wondering why they would tell me they received an email stating it was going to be made and Ford is stating otherwise.

Because of the claim becoming inaccurate due to new information.

"last month they received an email from their Ford rep stating 2 vehicles were going to be built this month"

The decision to only schedule EcoBoost with no lux packages was made public less than a week ago. Both the original statement from the dealer and the current situation can both be true......at the time the statements were made. Plans change.
