Order Confirmation Email?

I finally got it! For some reason it was sent to the sales rep and not me but whatever I’m just glad I got it!

I had the same issue, had my sales rep forwarded to me.

Monday 6/21 - Went up to the dealership and told the salesman exactly what I wanted. It was close to closing time when we were finishing up, so he said he'd get the order built and send over some paperwork for me to sign. I gave him a check for the $500 deposit.

Wednesday 6/23 - Check was cashed.

Thursday 6/24 - Received paperwork via email. It included a dealer installed option of Nitrogen Filled Tires for $49. I emailed him back and told him to take off the Nitrogen Fill and add Tinted Windows.

Saturday 6/26 - Received updated paperwork. Went up to dealership to sign it. Received the preview order with a Sales Code, Order Code, and Priority Code (19), but no Order Number or VIN.

Tuesday 6/29 - Still have not received an email confirmation from Ford. So I got on Ford's website and clicked Contact Us and then started a chat. The chat representative confirmed that Ford does have my order and that I would not be getting a confirmation email. Seems really odd to me considering how many people are getting confirmation emails.

I tried the ford website chat today. Gave my them my sales code and order code from the order preview pdf I received. They said they couldn’t see anything, but it could be because the order is too new (placed order a week ago).

So after giving the dealer a few days I reached out and said I’ve seen that people have gotten email confirmations from Ford and I never received one. They just sent over the order preview pdf again and said they will notify me when my VIN gets created. Something seems a little fishy since I didn’t have to sign or put down any deposit, just sent picture of drivers license.

I ordered back on June 15th and never received the email. I asked today and they forwarded me a screen shot similar to another member here showing it was indeed ordered on the 15th. Apparently it never came and it still hasnt shown up on my Ford account.

Ordered 6/14 and no confirmation email…. The dealer has confirmed multiple times that the order is actually submitted (I have even seen the ordering system showing my order status). Has not shown up on my Ford account either. Very interesting that some are receiving emails while others are not even though there appears to be no issues on the order front…

I ordered about 2 weeks ago and still haven’t gotten the email. After confirming with the dealer that my email was correct and it was submitted I decided to call Ford directly to see. Ford said the order was in so I’m not gonna fret about it any longer!

Try the spam folder if you haven’t already. I’ve found Ford emails in there before.

I received an email almost immediately after ordering, but I also see nothing on my ford.com account.

I've spoken with multiple dealers around Portland and so far they all say that order banks aren't open yet. my patience is running out with my current order. They assure me its all good. None of them have given me an actual answer when i bring up all the confirmations others have received

Haha, good one. The Portland dealers would be wrong.

Mine, autonation ford in frisco texas only require a $100 deposit
