Far Left lane, I am #4 in about seven in a row.
MORON in the lead is pacing a Semi, who is in 2nd Left lane.
THIS MORON, "Brake Checks" #2...
#3, ME, #5 and #6, we ALL take Nascar "After The Big One" maneuvers.
YES! We did have some safe distance.
BUT at near 70 mph. I don't recommend trying this at home either..
and YES, I DID piss myself a little...

Actually, there is this Big Fresh water lake that is confusing you .

"West" I-94 heads into Chicago. Well years back the Feds thought of piggy- backing 94 onto "North" 41 for 90 miles. Since it was already built.
Than, at Milwaukee it heads "West" again. Until you get to Madison. There it heads "Northwest" to the Twin Cities.

I live north of Detroit and 2 miles from I-94. Here it is on Google Maps.

As you can see it runs damn near due north and south. The “northbound” lanes are I-94 east and the “southbound” lanes are I-94 west.

And to Muddy the waters....
We have 794, that ONLY runs north and south.
Then, there is... 894. That runs west-east and north-south. And that depends on which end you get on..
