By chance is your water bottle a Thermo Flask 24 oz. from Costco? Thanks for posting your photo!
It's that one from Amazon that I linked.

FYI... If the reader has an ad blocker links like that Amazon link don't show up. You have to turn off your ad blocker to see them.

But I find these fit with plenty of room to spare. You just have to clean the wax off once in a while:

I talked with Ford Merchandise and they said it fits in the back but not in the front. I cancelled my order, till they get it figured out.
Of the Truck, or the water bottle?

Thank you for posting this! I wanted to know the same thing. I was a little disappointed that my favorite Yeti was too large for the door but I think most any thinner water bottles will work. I can confirm a 1 liter Smart Water bottles fits, the thinner and taller verity. I refill that one to avoid all the consumable waste but it would be nice to find a tall, 1 liter insulated bottle that fits, larger the bottles mouth, the better. I’ll be watching this thread to see if anyone chimes in.
My wife takes medication that requires a lots of hydration so we were anxious to find a insulated bottle with a wide mouth and finally found the perfect fit. Name brand is STANLEY with 20 oz capacity. Cost was $19.95 at Walmart.

The popular Takeya 24oz from Amazon doesn't fit well. It's a tight fit (3.1" diameter), which sucks because i like the cap design.

Serious question here.

is there a list of what water bottles WILL fit in the front doors?

i tried a 40oz hydroflask, and a 32oz nalgene to no avail as those are the ones i have on hand. without buying more bottles that don't fit, does anyone have a list of ones that DO fit.

i know its a dumb schtick, this whole water bottle thing, but I'm genuinely curious.
Yours is a valid question, not "dumb" at all. And, it looks like you got some great answers.

That's the funny thing about this whole situation lol. All that talk about the damn water bottles and no one seems to have published a list or mentioned specific bottles that actually fit?
This is a Camelbak Eddy+ 600 ml (20 oz.). It fits well between the seats or in the forward door pocket under the arm rest, but is too thick for the tall slot behind the arm rest. It has a straw and bite valve and is spill-proof. My wife and I have used them for years.

Out of the 12 water spots Ford brags about none fit wide bottles. So in this video I show how I use the FITS trash can, not for trash but for wide bottles so they do not bounce around in the Mav. Hope this helps.

A 20oz RTIC fits absolutely perfectly. 26oz is too tall.
