i know the BMV knew that mine was a hybrid when that law came into effect. because i went to the BMV expecting to pay $56. and was shocked when they told me it was $156.
the lady asked, " do you still want it?"
i said "well yeah, i have to have it don't i?. what is why the state can get away with charging what ever they want for it"
No, lady, I don't want it. However, I do prefer to comply with the law, so I will have to pay it anyway. 😂

Long time lurker to this site, wanted to finally post for 2 reasons.
1. THANK YOU to all on this site for the helpful information that has been shared!
2. I finally got my Mav yesterday (7/21 order date, iconic silver, hybrid, lariat lux with 360). I ordered thru Byers Ford in Delaware OH. ZERO issues with pickup yesterday! Nick, Keaton, and Steve were all great. Honored price we talked about back in July and NO pressure on adding anything additional. I would highly recommend to those looking to order a 23 model!
Maverick has been great! Nothing I would change, worth the wait!!!
So happy to hear about your great dealer experiences! Thanks so much for sharing and welcome to the Maverick family!!

Me too.

Been patiently waiting for my Maverick XL Hybrid, bare bones with only a trailer hitch, to be built. Went into production last Thursday, 5/5/2022, with a window sticker the following day. VIN assigned on 4/1/2022.

Ordered on June 17, 2021 from Montrose Ford, Fairlawn, OH. Hope to have it delivered by July 4th weekend.

Long wait, but it will be worth it!

It is well worth the wait. Got mine 1 week ago and I have enjoyed everything about it(Lariat, hybrid). Great ride, interior is roomy...just very pleased with it.

after being marked as "Shipped", how long should I expect my truck to take to get to central Ohio?
Mine was shipped the next day. And they were spot on on the delivery week. I think they have Ohio figured out.

Dates are in my signature

Congratulations!
I ordered about the same options from Montrose Ford too but on Nov 3rd. ...doesn't look good for me to get it in 22MY.

Picked up my Maverick on April 28th. Ordered July 10th from Castrucci Ford in Milford, OH (They were great). Velocity Blue Lariat Lux with All weather mats and mud flaps. Added on the Ford had plastic bed mat and tailgate cover which were very easy to install (as long as you have Torx bits 20, 25, 30, and 40). The bug shield will have to wait. I put it to work on Sunday with a yard of topsoil. Excellent truck. Very comfortable. I know the interior is plastic everything. But, you can't tell. It is textured and beautiful. Love the adaptive cruise control.

First weekend I had mine I went to Home Depot to get things on my long time list that I couldn’t get before because I didn’t have a truck bed to put it on

I sure hope this is the case with mine. I can see being delayed a week or so but over a month later seems crazy to me! I went through Ricart.
How was your experience with Ricart? they try any funny business or dealer add ons? Did they honor the 1.9% financing rate from your order date?

They were great when I went to pick up the truck. No mark ups or anything. They did try to sell all the other warranties that you can get through the dealership but were not pushy at all when we said we didn’t want them. They did offer the 1.9% financing rate as well. Overall a good experience with Ricart.

So happy to hear you had a good experience with Ricart. I should be picking mine up there in another month and a half or so.

Mine randomly showed up at the dealership about 2 weeks after the original delivery date. My delivery date had been pushed back with ford to beginning of June. Hope yours gets here soon! I love my truck so far!
My rail car was in toledo earlier this week so I am hoping it got unloaded there as the rail car is now in louisville… but i have no idea how the logistics of rail even work
