Went off road filmed a bit of it wish it had a tiny bit more ground clearance. Anyone else bottom it out yet?

Front bumper has a hole rear bumper a scrap and the mid section opened up like a can I slipped sideways and was forced to go over a rock I didn't want to drive over

Mid section plastic is 140 to 160 bucks front bumper can ve heat gunned and glued easy cheap repair. The mkd section is like fabric not plastic

good looking truck, beautiful area you were driving in.

I am guessing a 2" lift kit is something you are looking at? Maybe bigger tires too?

Awesome and thankyou for not only offroading your Maverick but getting pretty good video aswell. It really keeps all of us in waiting interested and entertained. With recent news I'm now shooting to switch to a Tremor. But either way Im going to lift mine to whatever the max height is for the CVs. 245/70 or 255/65 is the tire im going for. The Maverick does have some bad angles but that Tremor bumper and lift is gonna change alot of what it can do. Im gonna be doing a topper too and plan on air bags to keep it up high on the momentum bumps. As someone who lost 6 years of jeeping footage on a tossed laptop, take plenty of footage and always back it up.

Thank you so much for filming this!!!

Been curious how this will hold up to my Forester off-road that eats up quite a bit I throw her way. This really gives a great perspective.

Forester is a bit better but that's due to more ground clearance. 8.5 vs 9.3 you can get 2.5 more with a ready lift I got that already just haven't put it on wanted to try it out before. So 8.5 plus 2 equals 10.5 now the forester can be lifted a bit as well.

Changing to toyo AT III 235 65 r15 or r17 is way better then the 225 65 scorpions tires. You old put a 70 on it instead of a 65 you can also get away with 245 65 big ko2 as well I wanted to stay with a stock tire for warranty

I have a driver side felt panel leaning against my wall right now... I've absolutely destroyed mine from the factory. 😂 So you could say I've bottomed it out a few times.

The KO2s are very, very heavy and overkill for this truck. I'd look at the Toyos (I'm running 245/65R17) or the Falkens.

@Haha48 yea I too have ripped some holes into that felt padding at the bottom by scrapping over some rocks.

Not sure what a good way to repair it is.
I was thinking of buying some heavy duty felt pad and super glew it on. 🙃

141 to 167 from the dealer for the part few bucks to bolt it on cost 210

The weird part is the replacement part seems more durable

I've taken my Maverick out a few times.

Clearance really does it in. Just doesn't have enough to get over even medium sized rocks.

I took a bad line my first attempt over that little water crossing and scraped the rock to the left just a bit. It didn't look like a big rock... but the Maverick isn't a big truck ;)

The air dam on the front bumper is only 6" off the pavement. The center is only 8" with a fairly long wheel base and miserable departure angles. Tow points for the non fx4 on the front are two 1" holes which require special hooks to use.

Be careful off road.
