Based on last week's notice it wasn't clear whether changes would be possible or not, though Tim heard from his Ford contact that changes should be allowed. Either way the VB orders and those with changed packages (Lux) should ideally have the option to add/remove the specific features. Hopefully we get more information by Monday.My dealer just called me. He got a email that basically said 22 pushed to 23 that you can't change opinion on them per ford.

Hopefully we do. I've been happy with him so far. He's called letting me that he got the email my truck was getting pushed to 23 and expected a Dec 12 email soon. From what I understand, yes. All dealers should have the same communication with the exception of the listed VINs - your dealer should have received a list of their affected VINs sometime last week. My salesman got his list from the sales manager, not sure who gave it to the sales manager.I have a question. Dont all Ford dealers get the same info on Maverick orders? As i stated yesterday, I asked my dealer about assigned vins getting rolled over and he didnt have a clue. Then you read on here where other dealers have called their Maverick customers and informed them about the situation where 22s were going to be rolled over.
Then this morning customer service told me that Ford hasnt decided what to do yet with those 6900 (her number not mine) vehicles and they are working on it. I give up on what to believe anymore.

The dealer I ordered my 22 from has never contacted me after I placed the order. Every communication with them has been because I called them. When I wanted to remove items off my order in an attempt to get scheduled I had to teach my sales guy how to do it. That was one of the big reasons I placed a 23 order with Long McArthur.They all get the same info sent to them.
Whether or not they read it is the important bit.
Some sales folks don't read bulletins. Others aren't allowed. Others trust that their manager will tell them. Others literally don't know how to read memos.
It's all about how crummy communication is at the dealer. Our favorite dealer YouTube star has the exact info every ignorant dealer has, he just actually cares and is competent enough so seek it out and get clarifications.
