I asked for my priority with Ford chat and they told me they couldn't give it to me, only the dealer. I wanted to see if mine moved from 10 to 2 yet as well.
Just to be clear that is NOT true.
Oct 13 order. Did the chat thing on Monday. Nada on the vin, asked about priority code response #2. Had no idea. Hopefully that is good.

It hit-or miss. I've had three different reps that would not give me my priority. One rep told me it was because some of the dealers complained about it.

First time a Ford rep told me I was at priority 19. They suggested I call the dealer and have them lower it. Dealer was not happy about it when I called.

That would give me pause as to what going to happen when you get a vin or build week.
Worse yet when it gets to dealer. You are after all the customer.

That would give me pause as to what going to happen when you get a vin or build week.

He did explain they give all customers a priority of 19 so it means they should get moved to priority 2 based upon the order date only.

I ended up calling my dealer and asked to get moved to 10 since it had been 5 months and he did. I also asked where I was in the "queue" of hybrid Lariats at the dealership and he said he didn't know. Would only do so much for me I guess.

My dealer would not say how many but said I was in the middle. Find that hard to believe with a Oct 25th order unless they got a lot of eco boost orders, which will leapfrog me.

I am about ready to jump ship at least for now, current daily is about to fold in half due to rust,
this is really what I get for ordering from a small dealer.
still order processing.

been thinking about cx-5s and fusions, or a hybrid escape if I can find one for a decent price.

dads been driving his New Year’s Eve ecoboost order for 3 weeks now.

What I have read I'm sure I will get corrected. Is the regional rep is the one looking over the orders, dates, options and makes the call on priority. I have never asked about where I'm at how many orders, cause it means nothing to me.
My original priority code was 12.

My dealer did mot inform me when I went up to 2. Since I'm October I guessing a July/August arrival.

Long time creeper, first time poster here! I've been sitting at Priority 19 since ordering 10/13, even after multiple asks of the dealer to bump me to 10. Checked with Ford chat this week and I'm now 02! Last week was still at the 19, so making some progress. XLT Lux w/ Sunroof, CP360, & Floormats.

You can try again. They aren't supposed to tell you, but I have found it is 50/50 for getting your priority level from chat.

Anyone still with a tonneau cover on their order? I never took mine off, after the order fiasco I have no faith that my dealer wouldn't boondoggle my order even further if I asked them to change it.

Yeah me. I told my dealer twice to take it off and they never did. I don’t have the time or energy to go down there and make them do it in front of me so I’m just gonna roll with. They say that it doesn't matter because it’s the SIBL holding it up and I ain’t removing my lux package, so I’m just gonna ride or die waiting on what I ordered.

What’s also funny is that I brought my DORA down to the dealer one time to discuss the dang cover and the sales guy told me I shouldn’t have it. I shouldn’t have a copy of the DORA I signed on Oct. 13th, 2021. I asked why but no good reason was given. That’s always bothered me.

Just to offer some hope to folks:

Yesterday my dealer texted me telling me my truck was scheduled to be built week of 6/27. It is a 10/15 hybrid order, XL, only option being the truck hitch receiver. My dealership is super small and located in a rural area. My 10/15 order was the second hybrid order they got scheduled.

The transmission in my vehicle has been on its way out since October 2021 so the wait has been difficult and it’s good to see some light at the end of the tunnel. Hang in there everyone.
