I was surprised C&D did not distinguish between CVT and eCVT.

There wasn't much an Element couldn't do - For instance lay flat seats for legit car camping. Could carry a full size washer,stove,whatever... Pop up rear hatch with a tailgate that you could sit and have lunch on while raining and stay mostly dry. The best -In the months that I have owned my Maverick, I have hauled bikes, tree branches, rose canes, bags of cocoa powder, an ice maker, 8-foot 2X10 lumber, patio furniture, boxes of packing material, and more. None of these would have fit in a Honda Civic.
But I do love Honda. I sold a Honda Fit after buying the Maverick—and it was a terrific little car with an insane amount of capacity and utility for being so tiny. I used to have a Honda Element, which was possibly my favorite vehicle ever—almost like a truck in utility.
We had a 2010 AWD Element, it was a fun ride, with crazy utility. Only real knocks were poor FE & slower than sap. Stupid move on Honda's part to kill it.There wasn't much an Element couldn't do - For instance lay flat seats for legit car camping. Could carry a full size washer,stove,whatever... "To put it in the simplest terms, the Civic is better at hauling people, and the Maverick is better at hauling stuff."
lol.....thats the Captain Obvious dumb-ass statement of the year right there.....![]()

Yesterday on our drive up to Salt Lake, driving north on I-15 I noticed a silver Element with something poking out of the hood behind us. No way could it be a turbo. We slowed down a little to get a better look and sure enough it had a hood cut-out and GIANT turbo poking out , a FMIC, and was dropped on some much wider than stock tires. The driver noticed us checking it out and pulled next to us and waved, then hit the gas. It clearly had some power. One of the coolest things I've seen on the road in a while. There wasn't much an Element couldn't do - For instance lay flat seats for legit car camping.
